The latest crisis hit the White House on Monday as The Washington Post reported two officials accused President Trump of sharing highly classified information with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. The Russians met with President Trump the day following FBI Director James B. Comey’s firing. Also present at the meeting were Lavrov and Kislyak aides.
Shortly following the original WAPO report, The Post also reported that Trump discussed specific details of an ISIS threat against the United States. Intelligence of the threat had originally been gathered from “a key partner,” according to The Post.
