“Egyptian army has still not declared if it will back GOV or protesters” (Al Jazeera)

Protesters across Egypt were observed welcoming Egyptian military personel on Friday during the protests that have proliferated throughout the country.

Protesters were observed warmly greeting Egyptian troops in four armored military vehicles as they passed over the Qasr al-Nil bridge in center Cairo headed in the direction of Tahrir Square.

There were earlier reports of protesters reacting similarly to the arrival of troups in the city of Alexandria and in the area of Ghamra in Cairo .
